Honestly, I am not kidding when I say how much I LOVE this form of creating my own positive experiences. Visualization, for me is such an important part of starting my day off on the right vibrational frequency. It is one of my favorite things to do first thing in the morning. It is the gate we use to open our ability to manifest our inner most desires.
Maybe you’re saying, “but I do it and I hardly or never see the results I want”. I get that, cause I feel the same way sometimes, and it can be very frustrating, especially if you are the type of person who likes to see instant results, which I sometimes am, but staying in that energetically vibrant place is where you see those results, and consistency is so important. This is the place Abraham Hicks calls YOUR vortex.
One way to visualize the things you want in life is by making vision boards. I enjoy creating them and it’s so wonderful having a story board of what you want your life to be or your week or month. Sometimes seeing it in your mind is difficult, but if you can look at that board daily, it’s easier to maintain that excited feeling about the things you want.
If you find visualization difficult or lacking immediate results I would say try visualization small things. For example if you are going to work or an appointment visualize having a smooth traffic free commute. My favorite which I love to play with is parking space. We all know how frustrating it is when you get to your destination and there’s no parking space! Imagine getting there and there’s a space for you EVERY TIME . I envision driving up and there’s a spot waiting just for me. Saying it out loud makes it even stronger, I find. Even places I know are usually super packed I think about driving up and a car pulls away as soon as I get there. I cannot tell you how many times that has worked for me. A couple days ago I had an important appointment that I was a little nervous about. So for the couple days before I took some quiet time and envisioned my day leading up to the appointment. My commute, finding parking right outside the building, at 4pm on a Friday in downtown Vancouver, not an easy feat. Even my interaction with the interview. I kid you not everything worked out just as I visualized. I mean EVERY. SINGLE. THING. It was such a wonderful experience.
Remember that our thoughts become reality. So be the creator of YOUR reality. Even our negative experiences are created by us, and I know we don’t want to believe that, because why would we bring negativity into our own lives. Well, it’s most likely not on purpose, but we are still responsible.
Before getting out of bed each morning take a few seconds or minutes while laying there to visualize how you want your day to be. Even if it’s one specific event in the day.
It can make a huge difference. Try it!
You’ll be amazed at how positive your mood, and the amazing things that start to present themselves to you throughout the day.
“That which we manifest is before us; we are the creators of our own destiny. Be it through intention or ignorance, our successes and our failures have been brought on by none other than ourselves” – Garth Stein ‘The Art of Racing in the Rain’
