Hey y'all I'm Teana-Marie (Ti-ana Ma-rie, just in case :D). I am a professional film, television and commercial actress and neo-soul singer, from Markham, Ontario, currently living and working in Vancouver, British Columbia. I have been on a personal journey to really live and find happiness in my surroundings. This hasn't been the easiest journey, but I am doing it one day at a time, and I really wanted to share it with you. I have suffered from depression since my early teens, and recently in the past year and a half started struggling with severe anxiety. These diseases can feel so crippling at times, and would often have me feeling alone and unworthy of being present and happy. I am learning to manage my diseases and live life to the fullest. I decided to write this blog as a form of therapy to help with my depression and anxieties, and I wanted to share it in hopes that it might help others as well. Please know that this is a safe place, and you are free to share your stories with me if you want. Thank you for taking time out of your day to share in my journey. I had a fantastic birthday 🎂 on Friday. It was a pretty spontaneous day. I completely let it flow this year, no pre planning. I just thought, whatever happens, happens. Sometimes you have to do that, just let things be and magic shows up. Loved watching #terminatordarkfate with some of my fave neighbors/friends, and then spending the night out catching up with more lovely folks. I feel extremely blessed. 🙏🏾
Enjoying theatre around the city. I love this book and all the ones by @khosseini. Beautiful production. Keeping my actor spirit alive.❤️
I loved rent 20 years ago and I love it now. If you get a chance to check out the 20th anniversary tour, do it. You won't be disappointed. The performers are amazing. They reminded me of why I love performing.
Holy crap! I yesterday I completed day 50/100. I can't believe I'm already halfway through the Morning Meltdown 100 program. I'm loving these challenging workouts. It is such a gift to be able to move my body, and do things I didn't think I could. After my dexa scan yesterday, I'm even more determined to do what is necessary to get my health where I want it to be. The scan showed that I have more muscle mass than women my age and height! Woop Woop, can't be doing all these workouts for nothing. Ain't nobody get time for that, 😂. But, I still have lots of unnecessary fat that I want gone, for good! Yes, I am definitely still workout. I've got my routine that I've been able to stick with for almost 2 years now! Pretty damn proud of that. Right now I'm doing a program called Morning Meltdown 100. It's fun, high energy and I just finished day 42/100. I don't put these posts up to brag. I hope it inspires someone. I still have so many struggles and so much to work on, but I've tried to make this a priority & I do it 5 to 6 times a week. Sometimes I double up and it's hella hard, and sometimes I'm tired or just don't want to do it. Then I remember how great I feel afterwards. I remember that I haven't had a full blown anxiety attack in 4 mths, a nice record, and I drag myself up at 4am and get it done. I would rather put in 30mins or an hour a day than feel like I want to crawl out of my skin all day. ❤️
